Yep, all of these rooms used to be fully carpeted and now... are not.

We are experiencing a bit of anger and frustration about a little unscheduled remodeling project. We remodeled the entire place just over 6 1/2 years ago when we moved in and had no plans to re-carpet anytime soon. But a backed up sewer main changed our plans. The ENTIRE basement (with the exception of 2 small rooms) has to be re-carpeted. We are still waiting to see how much dry wall has to be cut out and replaced. We are not happy campers about this little project.

Oh NO! I don't know if you were reading my blog about a year and a half ago-but the same thing happened to us. They even had to cut the wall out of parts of our basement. We had to re-sheet, re-mud, recarpet, repaint. Horrible. Horrible. I'm so sorry.
Oh MAN! That is so crummy! If you need a hand or a place to send kids for a little bit, give me a call. That is no fun at all!
Darn those blasted sewer mains!!! The previous owners to our house were really rough on the pipes and plumbing...we had to have our whole main replaced (hahaha:)
