Easter Morning

Generally, we request the Easter Bunny to stop by on Friday night so that Easter baskets don't interfere with church and the true purpose of Easter. But since this year, Easter falls on conference Sunday, and since Shawn was out of town until this morning, we asked for a Saturday night delivery. As usual, the Easter bunny didn't disappoint - but he was pretty tricky with some of his hiding places. It took Jonas and Samantha quite a while to find their baskets, and Peter's was the last one to be found.
Eventually, all were found and the looking and feasting began.

If ever there was a perfect book for Jonas, this one would be it. "How to be Totally Miserable: A Self Hinder Book" by John Bytheway. (I believe the idea of the book is to change that attitude.) That Easter Bunny sure knows his constituents.
Mmmmm. Peeps.
Peter enjoying his goods.

Chocolate bunnies - always a tasty start to the day.
One of the favorite things in the Easter baskets was these touchable bubbles. The kids have been playing with them all morning.
Peter pulled this chocolate egg out of Jonas's basket. I had to fish it out - wrapper and all.
