Fun things to get us out of the house...

First, to celebrate Rob's birthday, we took a picnic and hiked to Cecret Lake at Alta.  Shawn carried Duffy on his back and Peter on his front, and everyone else was on their own.  (I wasn't a total slacker - I carried the food on my back.)  Due to an unfortunate accident with our camera I don't have pictures of this event but Michelle took some good photos and posted them on her blog.  We had a lot of fun and decided (again) that we need to do more hiking.  Then for Robbie's birthday, we had dinner at Paradise Bakery with the Marshes and our friends the Dunfords and then we went to the Peter Breinholt concert at the Sandy amphitheater.  It was a late night but I think the kids really enjoyed it.  Jonas is not too particular about how his hair looks as demonstrated here.
There was a lot of dancing.  It was probably a bit much for the people sitting around us, but what could we do?And one day last week we met some friends at the Tracy Aviary. Jonas has been begging to go ever since he went with his school class earlier this year.  It was extremely hot and before long we were all dying for water.  Still some cool birds to look at. And we enjoyed the bird show.
Seeing how everyone measures up.
