In what has become an almost yearly summer tradition, we took a little field trip to the Sweet Candy Factory with Michelle and her kids. Everyone is always so excited to go (for the free samples I'm sure). We had to reschedule a couple of times this summer but we finally made it.
Here's the whole gang in front of the store. Of course, everyone loves that we have to wear the fancy "candy maker hats" and all of the kids especially got a kick out of Peter wearing one too. He actually had to wear a beard cover so it wouldn't be too big.
I was amazed that he did such a good job of leaving it alone and it stayed on until the end of the tour. Just to see how much has changed, I found a picture of our first visit in 2005. There were definitely fewer children and the ones that were there were a lot smaller.
