YSA Christmas Events

We have had a couple of YSA ward activities.  First was a ward dinner - cooked entirely by Shawn - and sub for santa shopping and wrapping party.  There was cookie decorating and some awesome "Just Dance" playing.  They made Shawn and me play against the bishop and his wife.  We had quite an audience filming and taking pictures.  I can only hope they are all lost.  Anyway, Shawn won, as usual.
It was a very snowy night but we still had a fairly good turnout and dinner was, of course, delicious.
Next came a Family Home Evening activity at the Voorhees home.  After a nice dinner, we were divided into groups and given a bag of "decorations."  Shawn was the only member of the bishopric there, so was selected to be one of the "trees."  Each group was given the task of decorating their Christmas Tree with the items in the bag.  Our kids, of course, thought this was hilarious.

I was mostly responsible for the photographic evidence.

See?  Now, NOW I can see that he's a Christmas tree.
And things only got better from there.

The finished product.
And the other finalists...

I love that Taylor's entire head is a star.

Samantha couldn't resist the shiny tinsel that dropped on the ground.
Yep, she's a poser.
