It's December, so of course, Fred the Elf made his 2014 debut at our house. The fact that Fred was expected was the only thing that made my kids willingly leave St. George after Thanksgiving.
He seems to have brought some winter weather with him as well. No worries here. We're excited for snow in December. It makes things more Christmas-y. (I won't feel the same way in March, though!)
Unfortunately, the storm did make it known that I am in desperate need of new tires on my car. I slid off the road multiple times. That wasn't much fun. But I can sure enjoy the winter wonderland from home.
