Marsh Family Bear Lake Trip 2010

(Warning: Heavy photo post.)

Ahh. Bear Lake. One of our very favorite places in the whole world. There really is no better set-up for a family vacation. You can pretty much keep everyone happy all of the time. (Except maybe when you tell them it's time for bed.) The kids love the freedom, and the adults love the kids freedom, too.

Peter loved being able to roam on the big grassy area and still be able to see and check in with us.
Of course, it wouldn't be a real vacation with out corn rows.
Samantha is pretty excited about her haircation.
A cousins photo - at least of everyone present.
Michelle practicing for her days as an old lady in the rest home. (Mostly it was the only way to stay warm enough in the shade and also not get sunburned in the sun.)
The official uniform of Bear Lake is a swim suit.
Lots of playing. Baseball...
Chasing birds...
Playing house (I think)...
Just enjoying being outside...

Michelle had us play an Oreo game where you put the Oreo on your forehead and then with out using hands, try to wiggle it down to your mouth. Robbie and Samantha both got pretty good at it.
The younger kids did what they had to to make it work.
Peter did not want to be left out of the fun!
Ellie and Amelia trapped in the tube.
Peter playing some Uno.
Samantha spending some time at the pool...
I don't think Duffy is going to sink.
Peter hanging out with Grandma Judy. He thinks she is pretty great.
A little time at the beach where Samantha lost her head.
Shawn giving the "there will be no whining on the boat!" speech.
A little time hanging out on the lake .
Ainsley, Amelia, and Ellie getting their feet used to the cold water.
Riding the hot dog.

We pulled off the water just in time to avoid this deluge. Thank goodness. The wind, the rain and the waves would not have been fun with all the little girls.
It takes a lot of water bottles to keep this crew hydrated.
And a lot of bikes to keep us all moving.
Playing in the warm water at the condo.
Michelle the photo nazi. This is usually the view we have of her - behind the lens of the camera.
Duffy trying to be like Michelle.
Silly girls.
Silly Mom.

Silly family.

We missed Jonas a whole bunch but still managed to have a good time.

I know your day was even busier than mine, so the fact that you got two posts up is just plain obnoxious. I'm going to have to do another "see the Stringhams blog if you want to know what we've been up to" post.
