I know, at this point you're thinking, "does she blog about anything besides water polo?" Well, yes. Usually. But I'm blogging about our lives and right now water polo is our life. Only a couple more posts on this. I promise. (At least until summer season starts up.)
The girls team after their final game in the conference tournament. They didn't make it to the finals, but played well.
And the boys' team? Well they did make it to the finals and look what they ended up with.
They took 3rd place in the Eastern Conference, which means they're headed to the state tournament.
They are pretty excited. Everyone wanted a chance to hold the trophy.

One of my favorite things about the boys' games is actually their pregame "power shower". Don't worry - it's not actually a group shower. It's a big team chant/cheer that usually takes place in the locker room and is pretty darn intimidating when you can hear it. Love it. Sometime, I'll have to record it. (Obviously not when it is done in the men's locker room.)
These are some seriously happy water polo players.
