Spring Break Chicago Day 2

On Tuesday, we decided to hit a couple of hot spots. First, was Shedd Aquarium.  Since it was spring break, there were really long lines.  Fortunately, we had bought the city pass which allowed us to bypass those lines for the most part.  Well worth it.
There was lots of cool stuff to see.  The thing about fish and other sea creatures, is they are pretty fascinating to all ages, so everyone was happy.  We could have stayed there longer - especially Jonas.  He has always had a HUGE interest in sea creatures.  I've always thought he should be a marine biologist.  We had to pull him away when it was time to go.  (We even offered to leave him and pick him up later, but he decided to hang out with us.)
Woody pretty much accompanied Peter everywhere we went.
These things scare me, but they are completely mesmerizing to watch.  They're really beautiful.

This sign made Shawn and me laugh.

We finished up at the aquarium by watching a show with the dolphins, belugas and penguins.

Everyone was totally absorped.  (So glad that we caught the finger up the nose pose.)

You can always find something fun in the gift shops!

From the Aquarium, we headed to Willis Tower (which will always be Sears Tower to me.)
It wasn't the clearest day, but we still had some pretty good views.

Although there was some hesitation at first, everyone ended up walking out onto the skydeck.  It was a little creepy to be able to look down at the street, but kind of cool, too.

Woody didn't seem bothered by it a bit.  He just sprawled right out.

A view up:
Woody took a terrible tumble down, but seemed to recover pretty quickly with just a few bumps and bruises.
And after a long day of being a tourist, it sure is nice to just sit down on the couch with your buddy and watch a movie.
