So Samantha inherited this fantastic trait from Shawn. She can't just sit and do nothing. She doesn't know how to just be still (except maybe when she is reading.) Even if she is sitting and watching TV, there is always something in her hands. I wouldn't mind it so much if she didn't also manage to leave a path of destruction everywhere she went. I love her crafts, but hate the messes. She's kind of like a tornado. But here is a sampling of some of her recent activities.
This one was for Amelia because of her obsession with Star Wars. It's Obi Wan Kanobe - the Cinco de Mayo version - Obi JUAN Kanobe. Very clever.
And in a continuation of Samantha's Harry Potter obsession, she made herself this t shirt.
And her own personal Potter Pillow Pal, complete with messy hair and a lightning scar on the forehead.
Also, a miniature version of the Sorting Hat on a rickety 3 legged stool.
Hermione's book bag...
... complete with quill, Hogwarts hat, wand, and copies of Hogwarts: A History, A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration, and 1000 Magical Herbs and Fungi.
She followed up her Potter crafts with an Ironman pillow especially for Shawn,
and finally, a Sherlock Pillow Pal, complete with scarf and upturned collar. (We love that show.)
Not sure what's next on the docket, she must have gotten an extra dose of creativity form somewhere - but my craft room is a disaster area!
