Ballet Recital #2

We are slowly working our way through our list of things to be done before school is out. Today was Amelia and Megan's ballet recital. (Having 2 girls in one recital is a first for us! It's never worked out that way before.)

Here's the cast waiting for the start of the show.

And both girls posing with their flowers after the performance. I wish I had gotten full pictures of them in their costumes. They were so cute. (All sewn by Miss Natalie and her mom, Miss Connie - they were fabulous.)
The show was great and a perfect length -just under 45 minutes. (As far as I'm concerned, at this age more than 45 minutes is just way too long!) They loved performing on stage in front of an audience and it was enjoyable enough that even Shawn was able to admit that it was cute. (He doesn't give that sort of report for Samantha's CBT recitals - just way too long.)

Now we are all looking forward to the start of swim team on Monday. Right, kids?
