Finally, finally, it is the real, true last day of school. This may have been the longest last 2 weeks of school ever. But, we made it. Since the big kids were home, I left them in charge of Peter and enjoyed a nice hike up Millcreek, and then made it back in time to take some quick pictures of the girls at the end of the day.
Megan with her cute Spanish teacher Sra. Foulke. We were hoping she wanted to move up to third grade with Megan since she moved from first to second grade with her, but nope, she is staying in second grade. All my kids have just loved her.
And Megan with her English teacher, Mrs. Pope. I don't know if Megan could chose a favorite out of these two. Second grade was a good year,
Amelia with her Spanish teacher, Ms. Harper.
Silly girl, hugging the school. Funny thing that Samantha is in this picture too, because she is in the poster on the left in the pink striped shirt.
Amelia with Ms. Johnson, her math teacher. I missed a picture with Mrs. Shaw who only stopped by for an hour or so this morning because she had a baby a couple of weeks ago.
What I didn't know was that Megan was getting an award at the assembly. Oh well, there's always next year, right?
This is how everyone feels about being done with school.
We couldn't be happier.
Now, we need the entire summer just to recover.

Clearly I need to be checking in here more frequently! Love the haircuts and end of school, hate the jerk who punched Jonas. And it makes me tired just reading about your crazy hectic schedule. We miss you guys! Sell the harp and come to Edinburgh for a month!!
