While all the girls were in St. George playing for UEA, the boys fit in a few things, too.
First, they made a stop at the orthodontist. (Seriously, doesn't that sound as fun as St. George?)
Then Shawn spent a lot of time cleaning out all of the garden beds. Among the huge numbers of overgrown weeds, he discovered the carrots that Duffy had planted earlier this year by dumping a bunch of seeds in the dirt and then forgetting where she had put them. Awesome.
The yard sure looked nice when we came home on Saturday.
It wasn't all work. They ate at 5 Guys.
And Shawn raced in his almost weekly cyclocross race. So I guess, it was just mostly business as usual here at home.
A beautiful sunset we saw on an evening walk on Saturday.
Funny Peter pouting about something in the driveway. He was under the mistaken impression that sitting himself down there would somehow change our minds.
It didn't. We just went inside and left him there. He came looking for us shortly afterward.
