More Cyclocross

This week, we headed up to Heber for the weekly cyclocross race. Despite all the snow that was at our house, there just wasn't much on the other side of the mountain. But it was still C-O-L-D cold!! (At least for those of us that were standing outside watching and taking pictures. Shawn managed to work up a sweat, but not me.)This is the guy that hung on Shawn's wheel until the last lap, and then took off and beat him. Totally uncool, I say.

With the barrier right at the bottom, there was no chance of doing any riding up this hill.

Shawn ended up placing 2nd. His first race with no flat tires, and fortunately no crashes this time either. I think just one more week as a rookie and then he's got to move up a level. That should be fun to watch.
