Book of Mormon Catch Up Breakfast

We were lucky enough to spend our snowy Saturday morning at home having a pancake breakfast for the Young Men and Young Women of the ward. It was a lot of fun. The youth have been challenged to read the Book of Mormon over the next few months in preparation for a big Book of Mormon Live event. So each month, there will be a catch up breakfast so anyone who is not quite on schedule can read and get caught up - plus eat breakfast. (I think that's the main selling point for the youth here.) Shawn made lots and lots and lots of pancakes.

We had kids everywhere - upstairs and downstairs.

And they even had a visit from Nephi as a little commercial break in their reading. (They had already met Lehi and Sariah at the kick off event.)
The lighting on this picture kind of made me laugh because it looks so ethereal.
Hopefully everyone left well fed, both physically and spiritually. It was a great event and I would definitely do it again with this group of kids.
