It is at least a full 2 weeks later than last year, but we finally made it out for our first boat trip of the season. (Seriously?! July 14th for the
first time out?) It was a beautiful night at Echo and the girls all got in to try something. The rest of us ran out of time due to our late departure. Peter, apparently forgot that boating is fun.
Everyone else seems to understand that there is no crying in boating.
A little knee-boarding and a little tubing...
followed by a bit of shivering and a beautiful moon rise. Although this picture doesn't show it, the moon was enormous coming up over the mountain. Peter kept pointing it out.
It was late in the season, but enjoyable all the same.
