Shawn is always on lights. It's his specialty.
There was a brief battle over who should be allowed to put the star up, and it was determined that the one who was most in need of Christmas spirit would have the honor. So it should have been Jonas, but he was so darn grumpy that the honor passed to the next in line. (It wasn't so much Christmas spirit that she was lacking, but generally nice behavior has been in short supply. Hopefully, this will fix that.)
Ta da! A tree picked entirely by Duffy in an attempt to make Samantha happy because it is much bushier than our usual Charlie Brown style tree - which Samantha has clearly made known that she HATES.
Now we'll just have to wait and see if we end up with any presents under the tree.

I am also a big fan of the Charlie Brown tree, although after we set ours up my friend's four year old walked in our house, took one look at it and said, "Mine's bigger." Good for you kid, but can you hang ornaments on it? I didn't think so!!!
