I know there are a lot of random postings happening, but this is all in an attempt to get caught up on the past several months since my modem or router or whatever has prevented me from having the ability to blog. It's been replaced and now I'm making up for lost time here although my OCD still requires that I post date these so they are in chronological order.
So spring soccer season started up and I was kind of dreading it because of the fall season, but it wasn't so bad. Peter kind of got the hang of it a little more this time around. No t shirt over his head, no sitting on the ball in the middle of the field, no playing in the net.
And even real true running this time as opposed to his slow motion jog from the fall.
Due to being in the middle of the highschool water polo season and other older sibling obligations, he did end up missing several practices and some games, but he's only 5. I don't think he's ruined for life.
We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with the YSA ward by having delicious tacos from a taco cart at the bishop's house.
Omar came ready to celebrate.
By the end of the night, Duffy had collected several people's balloons and insisted on taking them home.
Peter requested some pictures on our way into Target.
Amelia had her dance recital - Jungle Book. Unfortunately, this took place during one of the water polo tournaments so Jonas and Shawn missed it, but it was great. She was part of Kaa, the snake.
Her friend Hallee took one of our extra tickets so she could come and watch.
