Since we had such a long spring break this year, we decided not to spend all of it at home. The kids and I headed to St. George on Monday morning. We hung around the house a bit and spent lots of time outside enjoying the beautiful weather and sunshine.
We also took a few little field trips throughout the week.
One of their favorite places to go is to the Sand Hollow pool. They would stay for hours and hours if they could.
The slide is always a big hit.
Places for big and little kids to play.
Jonas taking a bucket of water to the head.
Samantha and Hallee crossing the lily pads while Amelia comes off the slide. (Pretty good to get all 3 of them in one picture.)
Duffy playing in the fountains.
Yep, they all wear a smile while we're at the pool.
Bathing beauty.
Just so you know, this is how you get sunburned. She knows from experience now.
Lots of time outside.
Riding scooters and bikes happened even before getting dressed for the day.
Samantha's self portraits.
Kids playing at the park.
Peter's guys all tucked in for the night.
This kid loves his bike. He is more than ready for a real one.
We went to see a movie - not Monsters University, but the kids liked playing with the promotional posters. We look forward to seeing it this summer.
We had some picnics in the driveway.
And did I mention bike riding?
Remember all that clay Peter got for his birthday? There was non-stop creating all week as well. The kids made all sorts of things and then made stop motion videos with them.
Needless to say, we didn't have a chance to be bored. And the warm weather was a welcome break after the long cold winter!
