It was a nice, hot day, so running through the fountain was enjoyable. Peter still hangs out on the periphery a bit, but I imagine that will change as he gets older.
Jonas said he didn't want to go but I told him to put on his suit just in case. As soon as we walked up to the fountain, he had apparently changed his mind, because he took off his shirt and jumped right in - and started terrorizing his younger sisters.
The best part about this picture is the chubby little kid in his underwear.

Group hug with poor Duffy smashed somewhere in the middle. Every once in a while I get little glimpses of the fact that my kids might, sort of like being together - sometimes, maybe.
Unfortunately, this was the best I could do with a group shot. No one would stick around long enough for a picture, so I gave up.

Almost all of them took a shot of water to the eye or nose at some point.
Peter eventually took a seat as a spectator. It was safer that way.
A little warming up on the hot cement.
Amelia really gets into the groove of the music and dances around the fountain, occasionally stopping to strike a pose. I never could quite catch it on camera, though.
Just for fun again, the fountain through the ages:
August 2005
I can't believe how much they all change from year to year! We may have to keep up the tradition just to be able to compare the yearly photos.
Don't know yet what tomorrow holds - maybe just a low-key day at home.

Dang. I don't know how I could have swung it, but it is more fun with cousins. Maybe we can talk you guys into another trip on an early-out Friday. I love the comparison photos!
