If your 10 month-old should possibly choke on and eventually swallow a dime-sized sparkly flower clip, it may cause you some worry. However, it may be expected that if there are no complications, the clip will probably pass through his system in about 40 hours.

Ha! I wish you had posted a photo. A friend of mine had a baby who once swallowed a 'googly eye,' you know, the kind you glue onto little craft projects and stuff. She sure got a shock when she opened up the diaper and found poo staring back at her!
