10 Months Old!

I just love this little face! It just brightens my whole day every time I see it.Oh, those big blue eyes....
Enough said.

OK, not really enough.
Here's Peter at 10 months: He has 6 teeth. He pulls himself up to a stand on everything. Fortunately, he also just learned to sit himself down again. (We're not at 100% on laying himself back down yet, but making progress.) He is on the move, crawling everywhere, and has figured out that he can follow us. He has a very strong magnetic pull toward any dirt, rocks , potted plants, dog dishes, or shoes that he sees and then, upon arrival, promptly puts said item into his mouth. He still breaks into a huge grin when any of us walk into the room.

He is no longer always the happy, go-lucky, complacent baby that he has been. He makes a lot of noise when he wants something. He just yells - loudly! If we aren't feeding him fast enough or he sees something on our plates that he wants, he lets us know. He never has taken to baby food, but seems pretty happy with our food. And changing his diaper or getting him dressed has turned into a full-on WWF wrestling match. Really, it requires either a 2nd person to hold him down or I have to pin him with my leg while he still wiggles, writhes, yells and tries to escape. (Ditto with putting him into his car seat.)

He loves banging things together to make noise. Loves to put both arms up into the air when we say "sooo big", and lays his head down when we say "night-night." He claps and waves "hi" or "bye-bye", always with a big smile. Along with saying "woof", I'm pretty sure he is trying to sign "dog" as well.

I already can't imagine our lives with out him. We're all pretty glad to have him here. This little boy just melts my heart.
