Wow! We have been keeping busy around here. We have had two ballet performances, (first, Amelia)
(and then Duffy)
a performance by Shawn's band, The Grey Dogs:
(You'll notice my kids right up there on stage with him - no performance anxiety here.)
Eventually most of the kids in the crowd got up to dance.
And a piano recital for Jonas.
The 4 oldest kids also went to see the nutcracker with Grandma Cathy and Doug, our friends the Dunfords, took Shawn and I to see The Christmas Carol and had us over for dinner, we saw a puppet show at the library, we went to a neighborhood open house for dinner, and we're not done yet. 'Tis the season. No wonder January always seems like such a letdown after all of the holiday festivities!
